Happy Graduation Day @MaddyMRC
Madeline graduates today and I’m just full. Full of pride, love and of course tears for the moment. I’m such a sap and I know it but watching your oldest end her public school career is something just amazing and I’ll get to see it first hand tonight.
I can not wait to see what comes next. The sky’s the limit here Madeline and I love you so much!
Look for the Helpers
Over the past 2 days, our minds and hearts have been spilling over for the people hurt by the tragic bombing in Boston. You look for answers but they are few and far between. How do you explain this?
I love the quote by Mr Feed Rogers that has been circling the interwebs…
When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, “Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.” To this day, especially in times of “disaster,” I remember my mother’s words and I am always comforted by realizing that there are still so many helpers — so many caring people in this world. – Freed Rogers
This is just so true… TRUE TRUE TRUE!!
its all how you look at things. Sure its easy to be mad and upset…even angry, but what does that get you. Zero.
This take look at the bright side to a whole new level… LOVE THIS!
I miss Mr. Rogers and the good he did!
TommyLog – Will the Bigger Man Please Apologize First?
I have a life long friend named Jeff and we used to pick on each other, many times to tears. As I look back on the incidents for the real reason I picked on him, I can’t think of anything valid other than the fact he was bigger than I and he was what I felt was weaker. This went on for years and I’m pretty sure I never actually said i was sorry. This weekend, he reached out to me and said he was truly sorry.
It takes the bigger man to admit they are wrong and to say sorry. I’m blessed to have Jeff teach me this lesson.
I appreciate him and call him a good friend. YOU ROCK JEFF!
