TommyLog – Owning Up To Your Mistakes

Hey kids just dad, and for today’s TommyLog I want to talk about owning up to your mistakes. Everybody makes mistakes. It’s time that we take ownership for our mistakes. Far too often people want to push their mistakes on other things. And sometimes people get in more trouble for how they tried to hide their mistakes then if they just owned up to it in the first place. We all make mistakes it’s time that we take ownership for him. Man up take your licks and be done with it!

TommyLog – How Decisions Hurt Others

Tommy talks about the choices and decisions made at Penn State and how they really hurt so many people. The walls of Penn State are virtually coming down around them with the sad sad news of the sex scandal there. The decision of the university leadership to hide the facts of the case from the public has just made the problem exponentially worse. Similar issues plagued Martha Stewart and the football players for the New Orleans Saints. If they had only told the truth at the onset, would the penalties have been so terrible? What does this say about society as a whole?

TommyLog – Learning from Mistakes

Today I’m in Oshkosh and recording on my iPhone. I have been listening to Steve Jobs book called iCon and the topic of learning from mistakes has come up. How would society be if we took a page from this book and actually learned from our mistakes.
