Tommylog TECH – Top 5 LOVES of the Moto Z Force Smart Phone #VZWBuzz #AD

Hey Kids it’s Tommy in for today’s Tommylog Tech I want to share with you the five things I love most about the Motorola Moto Z Force droid smart phone provided to me by my great friends at Verizon. My opinions are my own.

There are so many things to love about this phone picking five was hard!!

The first thing I love about this phone is it screen. It has a beautiful 5.5 inch diagonal screen. The quality and clarity of the screen is just amazing. The tech geeks at Motorola call the screen a quad HD screen – – I call it awesome. The screen is huge and delicious.

The second thing I love about the phone is the speed. It comes with a super fast processor and applications just snap open in the blink of an eye. It is pretty amazing. It also comes with 4 GB of RAM. This thing can chew through the biggest applications and games in no time. I love the speed!

The third thing I love about the Moto Z Force is it’s camera.  The front facing camera is a 21 megapixel shooter with laser auto focus and optical image stabilization. This is huge. I rarely travel with a tripod and having steady pictures especially in low light situations is awesome. You will love the camera on this smart phone.

The fourth thing I like about this smart phone is it ships with a good amount of storage. The base model of this phone has 32 GB of storage. These days this should be the minimum amount of storage on any smart phone. The android operating system takes up a good eight or 9 GB of that storage leaving you a pretty good amount for photos pictures and music. I also like the fact that you can expand the storage and put up to a 200 GB Micro SD card in here. Very convenient if you’re on the road or chewing up a lot of storage space by taking video. Emma loves to take video and she just chews up storage space. I appreciate the extra storage space on this device.

And last but not least the fifth thing I love about this phone is the “MotoMods.” Motorola has built a modular design into this phone. You can add and take away features that you want at a moments notice. Whether it be adding extra battery and wireless capabilities, adding a projector, or adding a speaker. You can make this phone what you want at the time you want it. So technically it can be all things to all people. Kind of like having a Swiss Army knife in your pocket. I just love it.

Well there you have it. Tommy’s top five things he loves about the Moto Z Force smart phone. The Moto Z force is 100% Tommy approved. I love it, you will love it!

TommyLog TECH – The Big Switch to Verizon! #VZWBuzz #AD

Hey Kids it’s Tommy, and for today’s TommyLog TECH I want to talk to you about the big switch in the Clifford household. For many years the Clifford’s was on a family plan with another carrier. My relationship with Verizon sure opened up my eyes to what I was missing.

I was always leery and fearful of moving carriers. The thought of having downtime or added charges always scared me. Verizon helped put my mind at ease.

I have always had a single personal line with Verizon, but needed my family to join us. I had lease agreements with my previous carrier so I thought the whole process of moving and buying back phones -the whole thing would just be a big, big nightmare. Verizon made it easy!

I even called Verizon a few days before the switch to make sure I did my homework properly and they took the best care of me. They even offered to call me on the day the new iPhone came out as that’s when I wanted to make the switch. The new iPhone 7 is what I wanted and that’s with the Clifford family got. As soon as my new phones arrived, we turn them on in our phone numbers were immediately ported over to the Verizon network. No issues! No hiccups! No Pain! Then I took my old phones to Verizon filled out some paperwork and they accepted them for a $650 each credit towards my bill. Nobody can complain about that. It was just so easy!

Not only did I move to a better network, but I got more data and I’m saving about $70 a month by merging my personal with my family plans. I am so happy I made the switch.

Switching to Verizon is 100% Tommy approved!

TommyLog TECH- The Waterproof Test – Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge #VZWBuzz #AD

Hey Kids it’s Tommy and for today’s TommyLog TECH I want to talk to you about how my water park experience was so much better because I had my waterproof Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. This sweet smartphone was provided to be my Migrate friends at Verizon. You all know that my opinions are my own but I have to say that out loud.

Before I get into the fun, let me dive into some gory details. The S7 Edge is rated at IP 68. What does that mean?. IP stands for international protection rating.  The six and eight in the rating actually means different things. The first number stands for solid protection. The higher the number, the better the protection. Protection of six which is the best solid protection protects from harmful dust. The second number in the IP rating is moisture. IP rating of eight means that the device can handle swims in the tub, the sink, the toilet, or the pool at depth’s over 3 feet. Samsung has rated the S7 edge at depths of up to 5 feet. That’s pretty incredible. I think you could have the power of this smart phone  \at the water park with you – – not just getting pictures of the action but being part of the action. This is critical!

OK so back to the Clifford family mini-water park vacation. The kids just love the water park and they’re screaming “DAD! DAD!!” come and join us. So I wanted to put the S7 edge to the test. It went down water slides, it was with me in the in the pool, it was in the area where we got water pour all over our heads. It went everywhere. This phone went where no phone has dared to go before.

As you can see by the video I didn’t miss a thing.

My only gripe, is that I wasn’t fully prepared and I wish I had a lanyard of some sort to hold the phone. So if I lost grip on a ride or something the phone wouldn’t fly away. But other than that, the waterproof capabilities of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is 100% Tommy approved!!

Thank you for watching and thank you for all your likes and comments and shares. They are greatly appreciated.

TommyLog – The Note! – Part 2

Hey Kids it’s dad and for today’s TommyLog I want to tell you the rest of the story. A few days ago I posted “the note” video and there’s more to be said on the subject. So to catch people up here’s a link to my previous video.

http://tommylog.com/tommylog-the-note/

So after I posted the video I really felt that I need to go introduce myself to the guy and just tell him what I had received. So I did just that. Got myself dressed and put on my “big boy shorts” and I went over and I knocked on the door. My good next-door neighbor friend Oscar answered the door and we talked for a few minutes. Oscar had just had cataract surgery so the discussion was very easy. After a few minutes of us chewing the fat, I asked if this person was there. He said yes and I asked if I could speak to him. I waited outside with “the note.”

I was a little bit nervous and said a prayer in my heart to make sure that this situation would end in a positive manner. After what seemed like a long time but was probably 30 or 40 seconds, the gentleman emerge and came outside. I introduced myself and shook his hand. I showed him the note and read to them what was said. I asked about how things are going and if he had a job. He indeed did and it was a good one. We talked at length about his job and what he did there. It was a nice exchange.

I told him about the two precious things that live next-door and how important they were in my life. I told him don’t make me choose between being neighborly and my kids. Because he will come out on the bad end of the deal every time. I had no malice in my tone nor was I upset. But I was firm and he knew it. I told him I respect him for serving his time and he deserved a second chance to turn his life around. it seemed as if he was doing just that.

We ended the conversation cordially and I went home. I felt satisfied. There are plenty of ways that this could’ve turned out and I know everyone would’ve handled it differently. This is how I chose to handle it.

What would you have done? Would you have even gone over to introduce yourself? The comments on this has been amazing and I appreciate so much the dialogue.
