Words of Wisdom on the Lazy River

Hey kids, this past weekend the family, minus Emma, stayed at the Tundra Lodge in Green Bay and I had the opportunity of spending some quality time at their water park.

I want to share with you things I learned on the lazy river.

First, no matter how slow you think you’re going, you always seem to pass up the people who went zooming past you just a few moments ago.

Second, the rapid part of the lazy river is so much more fun to go on when you’re with your family. I just like life. The bumps and turns and spins of life are always better with family.

Third can’t use the lazy river without a tube.

Four, sometimes you find the biggest nugget of gold just watching your surroundings pass you bye.

And lastly, it stinks to have to be in the lazy river by yourself. Family!

TommyLog – Emma Helps Someone at School

Emma had a really neat experience at summer school yesterday. There was this girl, a few years younger than Emma who was sad to be leaving her mom. Emma reached out to her and made her feel safe. Emma set such a great example.

TommyLog Father’s Day Gifts!

Happy Father’s Day everyone. For today’s TommyLog, I want to share the awesome gifts I got for Father’s day today. Emma and Drew gave me great gifts they made in school. So much love – so much love.

I am thankful to be a father and for the wonderful example of a father I had in my life.

To all the dads in the world, Happy Fathers Day. – YOU ROCK!

TommyLog – Baptism Day for Emma

It’s a big day for Emma – her baptism day. We also answer a few email questions. I am so proud of you Emma!

1 – What five words do you think most describe you?
2 – If you could make one rule that everyone in the world had to follow, what rule would you make? Why?
3 – What’s your favorite subject at school?

Keep those questions coming. Emma loves to answer them.
