TommyLog – The Friends You Keep

It has been an amazing week of dance show-offs, banquets and my 46th birthday. I’m just overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, messages and good will I received on my special day.

This made me think about my friends and how you can really be judged by the company you keep. I know that you must surround yourself with good people. I’m so blessed to have the BEST people in my life, both in person and in my social media world. THANK YOU!

TommyLog – Never Stop Learning

Today I had the opportunity of participating in a mock interview process for some students at NWTC.  What a great experience that was. To be part of the process and to help with their learning and progression…amazing.

It was awesome to meet these kids, some of them were not kids–well some almost as old as I, and see they were still learning and growing and wanting to better their careers.

What  a blessing it was to be a part of that event.

Never stop learning!

TommyLog – Happy Endings take 2

[Lets try this again. Had editing issues with my first upload…sorry.]

Sometimes when you feel that your hard work will never pay off…well do not give up hope. There is a happy ending right around the corner. Good things happen to those who put in the time and sometimes that means they have to wait! Keep up the hard work!

Keep smiling.

TommyLog – Cultural Cuisine @FVTC @maddymrc

This weekend I had the opportunity to attending the Cultural Cuisine charity event hosted by the culinary students at Fox Valley Technical College. What an AWESOME EVENT.

Great music, awesome food and best of all, it was all for a super cause. All the money from the even goes to scholarships for the culinary program. Madeline was just so excited to have me come and see her in her element. She did not disappoint. I could not be more proud of her accomplishments!

TommyLog Seriously Jawbone?

Seriously Jawbone? I order 3 new end caps for my jawbone Up, which I LOVE LOVE LOVE and you ship the tiniest packet in such a huge box?

I’m no green zealot. I get that things happen, but WOW JUST WOW!! What a huge waste of packaging, space and resources.

You charged me $11.95 in shipping for this? Next time how about a plain white mailer and couple of first class stamps?
