TommyLog – Upwards and Onward!

Well the cat is out of the bag. I have put in my 2 weeks notice at my current working place and now I’m off to bigger things. My time here has been amazing, but new opportunities come and this one was just too great to pass up.

It’s the hard to say goodbye, but the smile is just so wide on my face with the possibilities here.

TommyLog – WOW’ing Your Customers #cultivatefoxcities

I took part in the Cultivate Fox Cities Chamber event that took place yesterday and WOW what it a GREAT Event. One thing that stood out for me was how to wow the customer. The keynote speaker talked about the Ritz-Carlton hotel and how employees are empowered to make customers happy.

She talked about the difference between a satisfied customer and a  loyal customer.

Amazing day, amazing people!

What do you do to WOW your customers?

TommyLog – Leaving Your Comfort Zone!

Think about bettering yourself..or pushing yourself out of your comfort zone. Many people just can’t do it. They are complacent to just do the same thing day in and day out. A great example is Emma who wanted to perform for the church talent show. Here she is 6 years old, never performed in front of anyone ever…yet she wanted to do a number from the Disney movie Frozen.

What an amazing example to me and the power to push yourself to be better. THANK YOU Emma for your extra effort here and showing us how its done!

Surround yourself with people who push you to be better! Like Emma!

TommyLog – The Friends You Keep

It has been an amazing week of dance show-offs, banquets and my 46th birthday. I’m just overwhelmed by the outpouring of love, messages and good will I received on my special day.

This made me think about my friends and how you can really be judged by the company you keep. I know that you must surround yourself with good people. I’m so blessed to have the BEST people in my life, both in person and in my social media world. THANK YOU!

TommyLog – Never Stop Learning

Today I had the opportunity of participating in a mock interview process for some students at NWTC.  What a great experience that was. To be part of the process and to help with their learning and progression…amazing.

It was awesome to meet these kids, some of them were not kids–well some almost as old as I, and see they were still learning and growing and wanting to better their careers.

What  a blessing it was to be a part of that event.

Never stop learning!
