TommyLog – For The Love of Noah – First Touchdown!

My 3 oldest have all attended Little Chute schools and Noah has been a HUGE part in sporting and music events there. Noah has been the Water boy for the football team for the last 3 years. For their final game, his fellow teamamtes asked Noah to suit up and helped him score a touchdown. The story has gone national, and on Sport Illustrated too!

If this doesn’t speak volumes about the quality of students exported from Little Chute, nothing does. BRAVO LCHS, GO NOAH!!!!

TommyLog – NBC Tape Delay Fail #NBCFAIL

Is there anyone in the good old USA who is not upset by the way NBC has handled the coverage Summer Games in London? In this day and age of social media and on-demand news, why oh why did they chose to run many of the best events via tape delay? I get the whole time zone thing, but we are way past that! What was the last major sporting event you watched on tape delay? The Super Bowl? The World Series? The Final Four? Even to World Cup? Right? Seriously, what possessed NBC to pull this maneuver?

TommyLog – 2 new Bikes

So Emma and Drew each got bikes with training wheels on them this weekend. Not new new..but new to them and they could not be happier. These are Clara and Tommy’s old bikes…but who cares. I put on the training wheels and a bell on Emma’s and she was off to the races. Drew does not ride his, he just leads it around by the handle bars. Emma calls her bike bullseye and her name is Jessie… ala Toy Story.

We had an awesome big kid lunch this weekend with mom. So great to share lunch with everyone knowing everyone gets along so well. I know some people say its odd the way my ex and current wife get along so well..but it works and I really think that’s the way it’s supposed to be!

TommyLog Keep At It!

Tommy talks about his 2 daughters Madeline and Clara and their persistence and growth. madeline was accepted to Show Choir as a sophomore. What a HUGE accomplishment and Clara is running cross country. Her time consistently get better and better at each race. Keeping at it is the only way to get better. Some times you fall and finish last, but if you never try, you can never get better.
