TommyLog – You’re Ruining it For Everybody!

Hey kids, it’s dad and for today’s Tommylog, I want to talk about situation that happened at the mall a few days ago. You see there was this gal that had a sign that she was down on her luck and was looking for donations. Fast forward a few hours and someone found her facebook page – complete with pictures of stacks of money and showing how she had swindled the good people of the Fox Cities out of their hard earned money.

Why must the actions of one person ruin it for others? Taking advantage of the good in others – this will come back to bite her…I’m sure!
Just so sad!

TommyLog – Welcome to the National Honor Society

This week Clara was inducted into the Little Chute chapter of the National Honor Society. I am so proud of her amazing accomplishment. I started thinking about the 4 pillars of the NHS, Character, Leadership, Scholarship and Service and how each of the kids shares these qualities.

Madeline, Tommy, Emma and Drew, like their sister Clara all posses similar qualities. I love you all and Congrats again Clara!

TommyLog – When you Serve Others and They Serve You!!

Tommylog – When you Serve Others and They Serve You!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to working with some of the adults with the ARC of the Fox Cities and boy what a blessing. We went to Saber lanes in Menasha and I was their main cheerleader while they bowled.

What a total blessing to be able to be with those unique individuals and see their smiles and to help them…well it seemed like I was helping them, but they were actually helping me. You see the way I look at it it this. The didn’t really need my help to be happy..they were happy way before I got there…I needed them to be happy and for 2 hours, I forgot all abot the cares of the world and focused on something much more important… others.

THANK YOU john for the invite to share and learn and grow and make a difference!

TommyLog – Such a GREAT Day!

So my buddy @webjunkie from twitter had a job interview for the IT director position at my place of work. buy would that just ROCK if he got the job. Great interview btw. I also spent the day setting up Skype for our international long distance in our press division. I have never used the paid version of Skype, but it totally rocks. I love solving problems and saving a potential $500 a month in international long distance isn’t a bad way to start.
