TommyLog – The Impact You Make!

I received an email from a long lost college roommate of mine from BYU, Kevin Shelley. – Love Kevin. He told me of the death of a mutual friend from our sophomore year at BYU. The thing that touched me so much was that Kevin got to chat with her just days before she passed. She told Kevin that I was the first person she met at BYU and the positive impact I had on her live…even after 16 years. WOW!
Makes you think that impact and mark will you make? Do you do stuff just for today or do you plan for the future?

My brother Andy and I get invited to tour the offices of Blendtec and the Will It Blend Studio’s in Orem, Utah. if you haven’t seen a Will It Blend video on youtube, you are missing out. Blendtec makes wheat grinders and smoothie blenders seen in Starbucks and Baskin Robins nationwide. While we knew we would be getting a tour, we had no idea Tom Dickson, the CEO would be doing the honors and what a treat it was. We saw every nook and cranny of his great facility. This week I’m back in Utah for my sister nancy’s wedding. While staying in Provo, I stopped my my old stomping ground BYU. Its been over 7 years since I have been back and WOW what a change. Just amazing to see all the new buildings and changes here. Tommy also takes a tour of the BYU campus and the Lavell Edwards Stadium.
