TommyLog – A Broken Wrist

So what a great weekend. Clara had the most awesome dance competition at Kaukauna High School. Clara’s team won first place in Poms, first place in kick, and in first place in jazz.

The night prior, we had some pretty significant rain in the area in the parking lot turned to ice.

Sadly, as Madeline was going to see the awards, she slipped in the parking lot and fell and broke her wrist. I rushed back to the high school to get Madeline and take her to the emergency room. We went to St. Elizabeth Hospital in the care there could not have been better. Madeline has a slight fracture in her right wrist and will have to have a cast for the next 4 to 6 weeks.

All is well in the Clifford family.

I love being a dad!

Baby Drew – Get Better Soon

Baby Drew had a rough evening last night. Mom decided to stay home with him. Things just didn’t feel right so mom took drew to the Dr to see about his condition. They were extremely concerned about his lungs and immediately admitted him to St. Elizabeth Hospital. Baby Drew is int eh best care Affinity Health doctors can provide. He is eating, wetting and getting stronger every moment. Thanks Dr Warner for being wise enough to send him to the right place and THANK YOU Pink Lion and the people at St. Elizabeth for their extra special care.

UPDATE: RSV test came back Neg!

Friday Morning Pancakes – Affinity Tweetup

Today was truly an AMAZING day. Every other week we have a breakfast tweetup at BlueBerry Hill. Well this week, Affinity Health offered to host the breakfast at St Elizabeth hospital. We had civic leaders there, the president of the hospital, their PR firm and many many others. Over 40 in all were in attendance. What a true testament to the friends I have here in NE Wisconsin. Its truly humbling the lasting relationships I have made.

Emma Loves Pink Lions

The St. Elizabeth Hospital Pink Lion will always have a place in the heart of my 2 year old Emma. Ever since the birth of our son Drew 6 months ago, Emma pretty much demands that she see the “Pink Lion” so we need to drive by it, roll down her window so she can say hello. Take a look as we drive by today and see for yourself what it does to her.
