Few things make me smile as wide as when I go to the mail box and pull out a hard written card or letter. A long time social media friend sent me a post card from her adventures in Europe. How great is that.
I love writing handwritten notes and cards. I’m in a little lull at the moment, but I promise to be better

I have been on this pay it forward kick as of late and it seems that things have come full circle… last week I was at the mall of America for an event..more on that later, and I was greeted by a twitter exchange and $50 in VISA gift cards. STUNNING!
I think I’ll pay those forward and make someones day…

This week I had a very thought provoking chat with my friend Lisa @lisaredshoespr and Melissa regarding home life / work balance. In this day and age, is there really a life work balance? You have so many distractions, cell, web, TV, social media. is there balance anymore? Is your work just a 9 to 5 job? Can you just turn off work?
It just does not get any better than this. So much Tommy Birthday love. From my kids, to my co-workers to my social media friends. What a treat it is to be a part of such amazing people!
