Hey kids, it’s Dad. For today’s Tommylog, I want to talk about my trip to Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen. This past month, we got a brand new Popeyes and a brand new Chick-fil-A in big city, Appleton. I decided to venture out for lunch wait in line and see what Popeyes was all about.
The line was wrapped around the building once and they had people outside directing traffic. It’s kind of a big deal. The wait was not bad at all. The thing that impressed me was how nice the people were. One gent passed me a menu as I was waiting and I saw on the back of it “Have a blessed day”. That message was on the windows and doors and even the drive-thru window.
How great is that? “Have a blessed day”. That is just awesome. Not only are they filling my stomach, but they’re filling my soul with good thoughts. I’m really impressed by that.
In this day of so much turmoil both natural disasters and man-made disasters everywhere, they leave you with a little good thought. I just love that. Have a blessed day. Thank You, Popeyes for making me feel good…. oh and the yummy chicken too!
