It’s Perfectly Okay to Fail!

Had 2 very different customer services experiences the other day. One with Kaukauna Clinic where I have my primary care doctor and one at CVS pharmacy where I was to pick up my prescription and a few over the counter meds. Give this a listen to hear about all-star treatment and not so all-star treatment ๐
A few days of wins and one pretty big loss. In the grand scheme, not a huge deal, but you have hope and it didn’t happen. I had spent the last 10 months working with a music related internet start-up in Milwaukee. I was their community manager and did it on the side. I loved the people I worked with. You help build buzz for an idea almost from the start with hopes of watching it bud into a HUGE enterprise. So many awesome people and just like that… “We Are Going Another Direction.” There was a bit of appreciation for what I had done, I need to be fair, but no goodbye’s– nothing. Just changed passwords within minutes and then BOOM…
Sad indeed. I feel like I failed. I’m not used to this feeling. This new opportunity made me stretch my skills and i’ll miss it.
THANK YOU for allowing me to shine, or at least think I was shining. I hope you make good on your offer to allow me to play in the sandbox again. We shall see.
*SIGH* I just do not understand why people do what they do. Why would you put a CAPTCHA in a QR code mobile experience? Why would you host a QR code training event in a room without WIFI or Cell coverage?
*Double Sigh*
The world needs this technology, what it DOES NOT NEED is hacks implementing it.
So I get the latest edition of the Green bay Chamber magazine, Bay business Journal and there’s the title “30 Local Companies earn top-dog status. Insights on the top 30 privately owned brown county employers. Skimming through the article I see some well-known Green Bay companies… Wal-mart? Georgia Pacific and RR Donnelley? Seriously Local? What the…?!?!?!?!?! Something does not add up? What’s going on there? Please help me.
