4 Questions with A Verizon Friend! #VZWBUZZ #AD

This long labor day weekend I had the pleasure of traveling to Phoenix to see family and spend some time with a few long lost Verizon influencers. I just had to meet Sara Hawkins and what fun would it be to do a TommyLog video with her. So I did.

I took some viewer emails and let Sara join in on the fun.

Here’s the questions:

1 – Top High School pro horror story?
2 – 3 tech items you can’t live without?
3 – How do you like your eggs cooked?
4- Home on the couch or night on the town?

What a TREAT it was to meet Sara and spend the morning with her in her hood. My life was blessed to meet her in person!

A Trip to the Hospital – Serving Others

Had the neatest experience where I was called to AMC Hospital where I was given the opportunity to give a blessing. It’s amazing how my life is blessed when I serve others. Putting others first really is amazing.

It’s All About the Approach

Hey kids, it’s dad and todays Tommylog, I want to talk about dealing with people and how I feel it’s a lot like landing a plane. What do people remember most about your airplane ride. its all about the landing. When the pilot is getting ready to land the plane, thats called the approach. A smooth, gentle – gradual decent is what we want. no one wants to be slammed on the runway like a F/A-18 hitting the deck of a aircraft carrier. The entire flight could be smooth as silk, but if the landing stinks, the entire flight is marred.

The same is like dealing with people. What do you remember when you talk to someone? You remember the approach. How they handled the tough situations and if they slam you “on the runway”,  the entire interaction will be remembered as such.
