TommyLog There’s No Place Like Home!

Hey kids, It’s Dad and for today’s TommyLog I’m coming to you from my childhood hometown of Rochester, NY. I”m here to see some old friends and attend my 30th High School reunion. WOW Where does the time go.

it’s just amazing coming back to your childhood home after 10 years of absence. The memories, the feelings, the love –all come flooding back with each step – each drive – each old friend that I see again.

TommyLog – Wayne the Font Guy!

Hey kids it’s dad, and for today’s Tommy log I want to introduce you to my friend Wayne. Wayne is a tech guy with a company named Heidelberg. At work we have a lot of Heidelberg equipment. Wayne is helping us integrate some new features into our printing press. In talking with Wayne I found out that he has a rather amazing background. His background is in typefaces and fonts.

We instantly hit it off talking about the old days of Macintosh and pre-Macintosh days of typesetting and fonts and all types of early printing technology. The stuff that Wayne told me was just amazing. I knew I had to do a video with him and learn from his font expertise. You never know what you’re going to learn from people around you.

TommyLog – Postcard from a Friend!

Hey Kids it’s dad, and for today’s TommyLog I want to share with you how much excitement can be generated by sending one simple postcard.

So I have the super awesome friend from Phoenix who went to Disneyland. Not the world, but the land. And she took time out of her busy hectic schedule to send me a personalized card.

How awesome is that?!

This totally brightened my day. Thank you Sara so much. Your thoughtfulness is just tops!

Each morning when the Clifford’s say prayers, I always pray that we will be able to do something for somebody else. Do something special, reach out to somebody else to make their day brighter. This made my day bright.

Thank you!! This rocks!!

Do something special for somebody else. Make a difference in somebody else’s life. Send a postcard. Make a phone call, send an email. Make a difference.
