The race to build the world’s largest LCD TV is slightly less dramatic than the heated competition over who can bust out the world’s most massive plasma TV, but Samsung just rocked the title for both in the past couple of weeks. We already hit up the news about that crazy big 102-inch plasma, now they’re rolling out the “world’s largest high-definition LCD TV, the 57-inch LNR570D. The specs are tight, as you’d expect: built-in ATSC tuner, 1920x1080 resolution, faster than 8ms pixel response, 1000:1 contrast ratio, a support for CableCard. Comes out in June with a retail price of $15,999.
