Today after lots of soul searching, talking with friends and prayer, I put in my 2 weeks notice at the place I have worked for fourteen and a half years. Leaving my friends I have made there is not a move I take lightly, but this move is just the BEST move for me and my family. The ability to move from a HUGE printer to a much smaller one just makes sense. The ability to grow and to spread my wings and grow, its whats needed at this time. Today was a monumental day for me and one I need to share. I’m sorry for being such a sap, but you know how soft I can be and this is no exception.

Yes I’m leaving the mother ship to go to work for HC Miller in GB. I’m sad to leave but excited toe growth possibilities and potential up there.

Fret not, Tom. Three years ago I did the same thing. I left my job after 12 years and experienced all of the same emotions you describe. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made for myself, and now, looking back, I can’t believe I didn’t make it sooner. GOOD LUCK.

Great video, thanks for sharing your thoughts. Always a tough decision to move on, but let me assure you that there is LIFE after Banta, now RRD.
I still remember the day that I announced that I was leaving the mother ship BANTA and it was a very tough choice for me but one that I feel was the right choice and you will always have second thoughts but listening to your video convinced me that you have weighed all of those options and made a solid decision.
HC Miller is a great place and I think they have some wonderful people leading the squad over there. I know the feeling of what you are going through, feeling like you are letting people down and that is because you CARE, that is a natural feeling.
You will make something great over their and I will be looking forward to hearing all about your progress.
